Help support sex workers in the Bay
The BAWS Tops Team is a group of dedicated volunteers that keep BAWS running. We manage our Mutual Aid Fund and work to provide valuable info, resources, and support for local sex workers. We work hard, but also manage to have fun together. BAWS needs some more help, and we would love to have YOU be a part of creating our community care structures. This volunteer position is available to current and former sex workers in the Bay Area. We are doing all of our organizing remotely during the pandemic.

We are in solidarity with BML and Defund the Police because sex worker justice is racial justice and abolitionism. We are looking for Tops members who share and work towards these same values. Social Media Position
Responsibilities:
Work with a small team to create engaging, on-brand BAWS social media content
Use Twitter & IG to promote BAWS’ resources and events to our communities
Check & respond to DMs when needed
Role Requirements (we will train & guide folks - don’t worry about having exact experience):
Must have internet access
Experience in online s*x worker spaces
Familiarity of local and national s*x worker organizations
Comfort and ease with Twitter & IG
2-5 hours per week
